Collin County Archaeological Society re-assembled in January of 2009. We are an informal group that welcomes anyone of any age having an interest in Archaeology. Our goal is to gain a better understanding of the history of Collin County. You will find that we will arrange structured digs as well as surface hunting expeditions. From time to time, we invite guest speakers in an effort to educate.
CCAS meets at 7:00p.m. on the 2nd Tuesday of each month - check our calendar for meeting dates. Our meetings are open to the public and we welcome anyone with interest in Archaeology to join us. Attendees are encouraged to bring whatever artifacts they may have collected for discussion and/or identification by the group.
